Teachers grew comfortable asking each other for support with language.  We learned what we can do right now to bring Hebrew into the classroom on a daily basis without being native speakers.

What teachers are saying:

Thank you for the wonderful work you do.  As a native Hebrew speaking teacher, you made me think twice about the way I deliver the language to the kids who do not speak it and how it may make them feel. You also helped me realize that a lot of what I have been doing so far was right, and I know that on a deeper level now.

The teachers also look more confident and involved in Hebrew and it seems more natural, even when they ask me questions about how to say this or that.

I keep hearing Hebrew everywhere. Some kids come to me and ask to go to the bathroom or to drink water in Hebrew without me teaching them how to say it. They look so proud when they see my reaction, it really warms my heart.
